American Sewing Guild Albuquerque Chapter
2nd Thursdays of February, May, August & November

General Meetings–Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy Road NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111. Room 403 of their Adult Education building on the second Thursday of each quarter (May, August, November) the rest of this year. We moved the time up to 2pm-4pm. Upcoming dates.
Chapter Meeting—February 8 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy Road NE, Albuquerque NM 87111. We will meet in Room 403 of the Adult Education Building. We will be making “Doo Dahs” for Fiber Arts Fiesta at this meeting, so bring a machine, sewing supplies, etc. for some community sewing. What are Doo Dahs, you ask? Well, they are small, hand crafted items. For each $5.00 given, the donor can select a Doo Dah as a “thank you”. This year’s non-profit is Watermelon Mountain Ranch, New Mexico’s largest no-kill animal shelter.
Chapter Advisory Board (CAB) at 5:30 pm. Members are encouraged and welcome to attend. Electronic Sewing Resources

What our National organization is doing on-line to support our Chapters and Members:
- Chapter Newsletters: You can read chapter newsletters from all over the U.S. on the website, ASG.org.
- Weekly Blog: ASG publishes a weekly blog post on Fridays that can be delivered to your email. Past posts are also on ASG.org. This is the replacement for the printed newsletter that we used to get by mail.
- National Neighborhood Group: This is a Zoom webinar and is free of charge to ASG members. Watch your emails for more information.
- Special Offers: These can be found on ASG.org. Various sewing vendors have provided codes that members can use for discounts.
- Social Media: ASG Headquarters has an Instagram, asgguildhq. More and more local chapters have become active Instagram as well. Some examples are Nashville, TN (asgnashville), Atlanta, GA (asgatlanta), Denver, CO (asgdenver), and Plano, TX (planoasg), among many others. We are considering this option as well.
